I Bike. I Vote.

Bikes bring people together, uniting us across political lines for a common bipartisan goal: Building a bicycle friendly America for everyone. Whether or not you bike to your polling place on election day, you are a citizen cyclist — and your values for safer streets makes a difference no matter who’s on the ballot.

Over the years we have worked together to save funding for bicycling and walking infrastructure, successfully advocated for complete streets language in the transportation bill, and created a safety performance measure for states.

The next Congress will be responsible for drafting an updated transportation bill, and over the next two years we will be asking you to weigh in with your Representatives and Senators to support bicycle friendly policy.

The first step to building support for a Bicycle Friendly America in Congress, starts with citizen cyclists voting.

This fall the League will be sending you one email a week until election day as a reminder to vote. These emails will occasionally ask about your reason for voting or your voting plan. We will also offer resources to make sure you know when and where to vote, and how to find out who will be on your ballot.

This week we want to make sure you are registered to vote

Check to see if you are registered to vote.

Please watch for our emails, share them with friends, and most importantly, vote! I Bike. I Vote.
