Recent bicycling investment: The city of Napa updated its Bicycle Plan as a sub-set of the new County-wide Bicycle Plan

Bicycling highlights: Twelfe community events feature Valet Bike Parking by Napa Bike sponsored by Napa Downtown Association.
The Community holds semi-annual community forums at participating Safe Routes To School schools to inform parents and community members about safe driving during school hours.
The new April Fools Challenge is a month-long charity fundraising competition between Calistoga, St. Helena and Napa to log the most miles per capita during April using online program management tool; riders pledge money to local non-profits. Proceeds in Napa go to Napa Bike to fund new safe cycling classes for at-risk and low income kids.

Percentage of arterial streets with dedicated bicycle facilities: 50%

Bicycling education in 35% elementary schools and 20% middle schools
