Business Highlights: Spyeglass is continually striving to improve, and to create programs, policies and incentives for their employees to live healthier and impact the environment less. Spyeglass organized a bike maintenance "spring fix-up" for employees where all bikes were washed, oiled and tuned. The CEO and CFO of Spyeglass both bike to work, along with over half of employees. The CEO is also an ironman triathlete and has sponsored several employees to enter their first triathlons, 5k's, 10ks, and has sponsored several soccer teams. He believes firmly that a healthy workplace is a happier, more productive and creative workplace. Plans are also being drawn for bike routes to the office. Spyeglass keeps several bikes in the storage room that serve as the company’s fleet of bikes for errands and even triathalons. The office is a helpful environment for bike maintenance needs, with staff that are knowledgeable in bike repairs and maintenance supplies on-hand. Spyeglass has designed several bike jerseys and is considering having some professionally printed. Many of their employees also are active in the Minneapolis bike community, participating in Critical Mass, Bike clubs, and various races.

Most Innovative Bike Related Contribution: For every person who bikes to work, $2 per day is donated to a companywide "pool" of fun money. In addition, last year the whole office did a 5-k run/walk, and several employees did triathlons.
