Business Highlights: OTB does a lot of work in the Pittsburgh community to promote and plan for more bike racks, safer routes and connections to the city. The Café does a lot for their customers who incorporate biking into their lives. The entire restaurant is themed around and decorated with bikes and bike parts, and trails. They advertise all cycling events, promote local cycling and trail organizations, and sponsor cycling events such as races, race teams, and rides for charities. OTB Café sponsors a racing team, monthly alley cat and cyclocross events, an annual keg ride to raise money for local cycling groups, and fundraisers for charity rides and trips for kids. The Café has a supply of bike maintenance tools on site and provides breakfast for commuters during Bike Month. They also offer year round Car Free Fridays discounts to customers who bike to the cafe on Fridays.

Most Compelling Bike Related Accomplishment: OTB Bicycle Cafe formed a bike/pedestrian committee to help further the efforts of the City of Pittsburgh bike/ped coordinator, the local bike advocacy group, Bike Pittsburgh and the local neighborhood group, the South Side Local Development Company.
