Business Highlights: Kimberly-Clark works with local bike shops to provide employee discounts on bike-related purchases. They also use the bike shop partnership to provide and maintain a company bike fleet for their “Bikes on Campus” program, which provides bikes for employee use during work hours.  Kimberly-Clark organizes a “Bike for Life” week in May where local bike shops come onsite and provide education, materials and presentations on bike maintenance and bike safety. Valley Transit provided a demonstration of their Rack-N-Roll Service (Bus-Bike racks).
The Scott brand sponsors the "Get Up and Ride" global bike to work campaign. This highly successful program utilizes a real-time tracking website developed by the Cascade Bicycle Club to encourage employees around the world to bike to work. They plan to expand the pilot program in 2011 to other local companies to encourage bike commuting in the Fox Valley. Additionally, all local rides are publicized on the KC Health Service's website and ride brochures are available at the Neenah Exercise facility. Bike safety has been presented as a topic during company safety meetings and bike safety and bike training classes are provided by the Exercise Facility on an as-needed basis. There is an established corps of experienced riders that encourage newcomers to participate in the Kimberly-Clark bike programs. Additionally, the Family Care Leadership provides an incentive of $20 per month in bike shop gift certificates to all Family Care employees that bike to work at least 10 days during any month. Kimberly-Clark provides a multi-million dollar Exercise Facility including lockers, showering facilities and secure bike parking for bike commuters.
