Business Highlights: The weekly Erik’s Riders Club rides are a way for the company to help promote safe cycling habits to employees and guests. They also work to help educate the communities through working with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, hosting health fairs at local corporations, providing support at local cycling events, and offering commuter tips and resources on our website. Erik’s is a generous supporter of local and state advocacy. They are the title sponsor for the MN Ironman Bike Ride and Erik’s Spring Cup cross-country mountain bike race. The Shop provides mechanical and event support for the MS 150 in Minnesota, Bike MS in Wisconsin, the Horribly Hilly Hundreds, Tour of Saints, Red Ribbon Ride, and a number of triathlons. Erik’s Bike Shop actively works with the cities of Minneapolis, MN, St Paul, MN, and Madison, WI to promote Bike to Work week. Additionally, Erik’s partnered with the Isthmus newspaper in Madison, WI to hold a contest for Madison’s Commuter of the Year. The winner received a brand new commuter bike valued at $550.
