Business Highlights: In the 20 years that Ciclismo Classico has been running bicycle tours abroad, they have hosted over 8,000 people from all over the world. For Bike to Work Day, Ciclismo Classico organizes a commuter challenge and provides breakfast. During Bike to Work Month, Ciclismo sponsors a free Bicycle Film Festival and arranges a social ride. Much of the staff has been given a free Ciclismo Classico bicycle to use for errands or exercise. The CEO conducts all first interviews and key meetings with Managing Director by bike. Ciclismo teaches maintenance and safe riding classes and provides a bicycle incentive and training program for all employees. The office has showers and locker rooms for employees who commute in. Ciclismo was one of the key initiators of the 1st forum on Bicycle tourism at the 2010 National Bike Summit. Ciclismo Classico works within the Arlington, Massachusetts community through their involvement with the Mass Corridor Project and bringing Safe Routes to School program to local schools. They sponsor and participate in many fund raising rides including an annual Jingle Ride and cyclists parade for Patriots Day, the Blooming Metric MS ride, and Cycle Kids. Ciclismo Classico supports the thought that having employees who bike increases morale and creates a better connection to customers, which thus increases productivity.
