Business Highlights: Bucks County Bikes actively supports bike commuting in the community. From donating bike racks to a local soccer field and various buildings in the township to their efforts in local advocacy, they extend their bike persuasion outside of their retail walls. Bucks offers employees the Commuter Tax Benefit for bicyclists and adds to the incentive by paying $1.50 per day to employees that ride their bike to work. They plan to increase the incentive to $2.00 per day if an employee is a member of the local advocacy group. To celebrate Bike Month there is a commuter challenge, a CEO Led ride, and multiple sponsored events. Bucks made a significant investment in time to successfully get a bike/ped walkway on the new RT 95 bridge. Safe riding and maintenance classes are offered on a regular basis to customers and employees.
