Business Highlights: Bike World is involved in every advocacy initiative for promoting cycling in San Antonio from the grassroots level on up. They work with the MPO to help increase the bicycle friendliness of the area and are a contributor to the Bicycle Master Plan for San Antonio. Bike World is an innovative, inspired company committed to a positive cycling lifestyle for their employees, customers, and the community. They are also assisting with a City initiative for BikeShare and Rentals and Tours for the City of San Antonio. They offer a large fleet of bikes for employee use and have nearly 25 percent of staff using them. Showers are on-site, as is convenient and secure bike parking, and bike tools and supplies. Monthly bike safety and maintenance classes are offered to employees and the community. They host a commuter challenge for staff throughout Bike Month and celebrate with shop rides, local events, and prizes.
