Business Highlights: Burritos for biking. That's what the regular commuters at Bike Tech recieve for riding into work. During Bike to Work Week, they'll also get breakfast and prizes while also providing mechanical support for community events. Bike Tech pays annual local mountain bike trail fees for all interested employees. In order to encourage other local businesses to promote bicycling, Bike Tech will sell commercial quality bike racks to them at cost.

Most Compelling Bicycle Related Accomplishment: Bike Tech was part of the Cedar Falls Bike Task Force that helped to earn the community Bicycle Friendly status.

Benefits of the Business being Bicycle Friendly: The more the Cedar Falls community see Bike Tech employees biking, the more it encourages them to do the same.  The staff is able to practice what they preach and offer genuine advice when answering questions on how to make commuting a part of their life. All of the employees love to bike and in the peak season, commuting is the nearly the only biking they are able to do with such busy work schedules.  It helps to keep them mentally sane.
