Business Highlights: Bike Rack Cycling and Fitness fosters an environment where cycling serves as means of transportation, form of recreation and a great way to exercise.  Employees all share a passion for cycling and incorporate it into their daily lives.  Bike Rack encourages this even further by compensating bike commutes with money for store credit.  The store also provides shower and locker room facilities with sheltered, secure places to store bicycles.  The store is bike accessible- located near several bike trails.  Staff and distributable bicycle information help community members find routes throughout Omaha as well as upcoming bicycle events.  Bike Rack gives back to the Omaha bicycling community in many ways.  For example, they have donated items to help fund Wabash Trace trail and host safe riding and maintenance classes for all levels of cyclists. They also help fund local advocacy, have co-opted in advertising local trails and the agencies that build them and helped fund a rails to trails bridge conversion over the Platte River. The store celebrates Bike Month with store wide special geared towards commuters, information on their website as well as a partnership with local mayors’ offices to provide bikes to residents.
