League Searches for Membership Assistant

The League of American Bicyclists is a national non-profit organization that works through advocacy and education for a bicycle-friendly America on behalf of the nation's 85 million cyclists. The League achieves this through national programs, including: Bicycle Friendly Communities Campaign, bike safety education, Safe Routes to School, National Bike Month and the National Bike Summit from its offices in Washington, D.C.

Primary Responsibilities

This position will sort mail, process income and provide general administrative support. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone interested in cycling, and seeking experience with a non-profit organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. Must be detail-oriented, able to work independently and able to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks. Must be team oriented with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
