Privacy PolicyYour Privacy is Important to usAs a League member, you should know that you can tell us not to give your mailing information out to anybody. We exchange names with state bicycling organization and local clubs, so they can mail you information about their efforts or events. We also exchange names with bicycling publications and catalogues such as VeloNews. If you don’t want to receive any information from these bicycling groups, just let us know! We will gladly make these changes. E-mail is the most efficient way to reach the League’s 40,000 members to tell you what we’re up to and alert you on important issues. The League will never give your e-mail address to anybody and we will not inundate you with pointless messages. We know we need to keep your trust. We value this means of communication because it is cost effective and has the benefits of speed when time is of the essence. Because we can do things like alert members in a particular city or state about a bicycling issue of importance to them, we encourage you to give us your email address so we can work together to create a bicycle-friendly America. You can do this by calling us at 202-822-1333, emailing bikeleague@bikeleague.org, or writing it on your next renewal notice. As always, thank you for your membership and support. |

The massive economic costs – and very real personal impacts – of physical inactivity, obesity, congestion, and traffic crashes are starting to be tallied and the statistics are alarming.
