National Bike Summit: December Preview

An impressive 96% of Summit attendees surveyed over the last five years said that they would return to the Summit and recommend it to a friend. We’re thrilled by this, though not surprised.

Why are people so excited? Well, there is a lot to be excited about! We have fun mobile workshops to get you out into the heart of the nation’s capital, visiting iconic DC Bicycle Friendly Businesses such as National Public Radio, National Geographic Society, The World Bank, and more!

The Awards Night Gala will kick off the Summit on Monday night to celebrate you! — your hard work, your successes and your extensive hours advocating for bikes. The Summit will feature networking opportunities, valuable content and an inspiring day on Capitol Hill. You do not want to miss it!

Our number one objective of the Summit is to equip you to become a better advocate throughout the year. We want your networks to be better enriched, your vision of a Bicycle Friendly America to be clearer, your knowledge of national and local issues to be honed and your confidence to be boosted to even higher levels. The Summit will deliver, and you want to be there.

Active Transportation Leadership Institute

For the first time ever, we’ll be gathering local and statewide leaders for the Active Transportation Leadership Institute, to strength groups and build capacity, to advance equity, diversity and inclusion and to build a state-by-state strategy.
