Do you ride a bike, work with cyclists, or have a knack for solving bike issues in your community? Well, we need your insight on the local biking landscape — become a Bicycle Friendly America℠ Local Reviewer!

Each application to the Bicycle Friendly Community, Bicycle Friendly Business or Bicycle Friendly University program is not only reviewed by a panel of national bicycle experts, but also by several local reviewers that are consulted to share their on the ground perspective of the applicant.

If you would like to become a Bicycle Friendly America program local reviewer, please sign-up here.

As a local reviewer, you may receive applications from communities, businesses and universities that you have specified. Feedback is typically requested in February/March and July/August, and you will usually have 2-3 weeks to complete your review. Of course, all local reviewers are strictly anonymous to allow for candid feedback!

Your feedback will influence the award decision and will be integrated into the official recommendations the applicant receives at the end of the process.

If you would like to learn more about the role of local reviewers in the Bicycle Friendly America program, please watch the Local Reviewer Training Webinar.
