Traveling with Your Bike on Airlines

Frontier - Weight/size limit is limited to 99.9 pounds and 109 linear inches. It will cost you $50. All bicycles are transported by hand from ticket counter to aircraft hold.

Southwest - Weight/size limit is limited to 100 pounds, and larger bags must fly as cargo. It will cost you $50.

Jetblue - Weight/size limit is limited to 99 pounds. It will cost you $50 for domestic flights and $80 for international.

Delta-Northwest - Weight/size limit is limited to 100 pounds. It will cost you $175 for domestic flights and $300 for international.

United - Weight/size limit is limited to 50 pounds. It will cost you $175 for domestic flights and up to $250 for international. (Hard cases uually way 30 pounds)

American - Weight/size limit is limited to 70 pounds and 115 inches. It will cost you $100. You also must pay the regular checked-bag fee ($20-$30).
