Media Registration and GuidelinesThe 10th Annual National Bike Summit is open to print, online and broadcast news media, as well as health, advocacy and industry reporters, and freelance writers on a verifiable assignment from an established news source. Complimentary meeting registration will be available to members of the media who provide appropriate press credentials and identification (see details below). Members of the press are advised to pre-register for the 10th Annual National Bike Summit, however, we will continue to offer onsite press registration as well. Please note that you will have to show proper identification once inside the National Bike Summit, which will be located onsite in the Ronald Reagan Building, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, D.C. Media Registration.• All media must contact Meghan Cahill, Director of Communications with appropriate press credentials and identification.• National Bike Summit Media clearance is the ultimate, binding decision of the League of American Bicyclists. The League's media clearance or non-clearance is final and cannot be disputed. National Bike Summit sessions.• All National Bike Summit sessions are open to registered members of the media.• Registered journalists must wear/display their official National Bike Summit press badge at all times while onsite at the meeting. • Exchanging, loaning or borrowing of National Bike Summit press badges is strictly prohibited. Camera Crews/Filming• Camera crews filming in onsite meeting areas, luncheons, events and receptions must make prior arrangements with Meghan Cahill, League of American Bicyclists Director of Communications.• Filming inside the sessions is prohibited unless special permission has been granted by Meghan Cahill, League of American Bicyclists Director of Communications. • Filming inside the exhibit area is prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made through Meghan Cahill, League of American Bicyclists Director of Communications. Meals and receptions• Meals and receptions are not included in media registration.• Meals and receptions can be purchased on an individual basis through e-mailing Lisa Reitz or purchasing at the day of the event. **Please note that you will have to show proper identification once inside the National Bike Summit, which will be located onsite in the Ronald Reagan Building, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, D.C. |
