Keynote Speaker Announced (2.24.06)

John Horsley, Executive Director of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), will be delivering the keynote address at the luncheon on Wednesday, March 1. Before joining AASHTO, Horsley was as an Associate Deputy Secretary at the U.S. Department of Transportation. He also served as a County Commissioner in Kitsap County in Washington State. He is the former President of the National Association of Counties. His breadth of experience makes him the perfect keynote speaker for a conference centering on Building Bicycle Friendly Communities. Click here to learn more about John Horsley.

With four days to go National Bike Summit attendance keeps climbing with cycling advocates coming from 44 states and British Columbia.

Pedicabs Coming to Capitol Hill (2.15.06)

The League has arranged for four pedicabs to operate free rides between Capitol office buildings on Thursday, March 2.

Early Bird Rate Expires (2.03.06)

The $100 early bird discount registration rate expires today. Registrations will must be postmarked with todays date or received electronically by midnight tonight.
