The League's National Rally is a beloved tradition, going back more than 100 years. Over the past 10 years, the League has transitioned away from having rides specifically for members, and we've heard that our members miss these opportunities. So, in 2007, we are offering the best of both worlds. We've teamed up with a world-renowned ride, El Tour de Tucson, in its 25th year, and we are also offering League-only tours on the Thursday and Friday before El Tour. For one price, you are registered to ride in one of the coolest rides in the U.S., and you get your choice of six other rides on each of two days. And dinner with other League members is included!
We have lots of options for bringing guests, and kids, so sign your entire family up for the 2007 League Rally: The event of a lifetime!

The History of the First Magnus 25th El Tour De Tucson presented by Diamond Ventures ...
In 1983, the first El Tour included 198 cyclists, and raised $4,500 for the American Diabetes Association. Over the past 25 years, this ride has into America’s largest perimeter bicycling event with an expected attendance this year of 10,000 cyclists. The ride has raised more than $20 million for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Tu Nidito Children and Family Services, American Parkinsons Disease Association, Water For People and other charities.
El Tour has evolved from a one-day cycling event to a multi-day, integrated health and fitness extravaganza. On
El Tour Day, always the Saturday before Thanksgiving, cyclists may choose from four distance options (109, 82, 66 or 35 miles), or the Kids and Family Fun Rides (1/4 or 4 miles).
This year, to celebrate 25 year, El Tour de Tucson has adopted Cycling in Pursuit of Wellness as its theme. National Rally participants are invited to participate in the 5th Annual El Tour Wellness Conference, which runs Thursday and Friday, noon to 6 p.m. and features
engaging, one-hour seminars and clinics that demonstrate the benefits of a healthy life-style on physical and mental well-being.
El Tour de Tucson is a production of and sanctioned by the Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, Inc. Visit their Web site to learn more.
