Course DetailHere are the details of the course you requested. If you are looking to sign up for a course follow the details specific to the course below. If you are a LCI and want to edit or add your course, you'll need to go to the Instructor Corner and login. Urban CyclingDate: Class is scheduled to the students' convenience. Description: The Urban Cycling curriculum is covered in three 3-hour classes. First class covers lane control and managing overtakes by pursuing cars. Second class covers approaches to intersections and scheduling right-of-way at intersections. Third class covers oncoming cars, left turns, and narrow bottlenecks in the road caused by obstacles such as parked cars. A 30-minute on-bike exercise is integrated into each class. This class does not cover everything in a Road 1 class, but focuses intently on managing traffic flow in urban environments. Road 1 certification classes can be arranged for graduates of the Urban Cycling class if desired, at extra cost.
