Youth 10 - 14 (Kids 2): Bicycling Skills 123Date: Saturday, April 10 (8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) Description: This class teaches youth how to be responsible, safe and legal bicyclists on neighborhood streets. Classroom presentation covers the principals of traffic law, lane positioning and intersections. Students learn how to avoid the 5 major causes or car-bike crashes. Bicycle and helmet fitting are followed by skills practice and a one-hour neighborhood ride with immediate feedback on technique. Everyone must bring a bike and a helmet. The minimum age is 10 years. The class is 4 hours in duration. This class is taught in conjunction with the Fort Collins Bike Co-op. To register for this course, contact: Rick Price Signup required in advance?
