Traffic Skills 101 @ Lincoln St. Center Pt. 1 of 4Date: Wednesday Feb 24, 2010 6-8PM Description: Partnering with the Hillsboro Parks & Recreation District's evening programs, the League Cycling Instructors will be conducting Smart Cycling classes for folks 14 and up. Each week we will cover another topic and, after 4 sessions will include the most basic information (and more) for you to ride confidently on our roads while being safe. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This week:The Bicycle - Topics include choosing, sizing and adjusting the right bike. "ABC Quick Check" a pre-ride safety check you can do to make sure your bike is ready when you are. Some maintenance basics (including flat tire repair), clothing and equipment and handling basics.
