Description: If you want to bike more, but feel like you need a little help, this course is for you. TS 101 gives cyclists the confidence they need to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. The course covers bicycle safety checks, fixing a flat, on-bike skills, and crash avoidance techniques, and includes a student manual. Recommended for adults and children above age fourteen, this fast-paced, nine-hour course prepares cyclists for a full understanding of vehicular cycling. Most importantly, you'll learn how to feel comfortable and have fun on a bike, no matter where you go! Friday evening, we'll be in the classroom; on Saturday we'll be working outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a water bottle.
