Basic Street SkillsDate: Thursday and Saturday Description: Ed France (LCI#1931) and LCIs Thomas Matthias and York Shingle will teach this two day class. Registration available at http://www.sbbike.org/CycleSmart/apply.html. If you can attend on Thursday, but not on Saturday, rest assured you may attend the road session of a future class. DAY 1 is a classroom session on Thursday, May 15th 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm and includes an interactive PowerPoint presentation about common traffic scenarios (no bike is needed). We will meet outside the Bikestation at 1219 Anacapa Street and the teacher will esort you into the building where the class will take place. DAY 2 happens on Saturday, May 17th from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. This session will cover bike maintenance, on-bike handling skills and a road ride. This session will meet at the Bikestation Santa Barbara, at 1219 Anacapa St, at the Granada Garage, next to Coffee Cat. Parking is available in the Bikestation and the Granada Garage.
