American Cancer Society Pan Ohio Hope Ride

Description: The American Cancer Society’s second annual Pan Ohio Hope Ride bicycling tour will roll from Cleveland to Cincinnati Aug. 7-10, 2008. The Pan Ohio Hope Ride is a noncompetitive statewide cycling tour to raise money and awareness for American Cancer Society programs such as its Hope Lodges, which provide lodging for cancer patients and their caregivers who must travel to a different city for treatment. The Hope Ride will travel 60-90 miles per day and is perfect for casual to competitive cyclists. Riders pay a $150 registration fee and are given tips to help collect the $2,500 fund-raising goal for the event. They also have the option of raising $500 to participate in one day of the tour.
