Club Ride DetailThe 31st Annual Horsey HundredDate(s): Sat./Sun. May 24-25, 2008 Description: The 31st running of the Bluegrass Cycling Club's Horsey Hundred is taking place May 24-25, 2008, in Georgetown, Kentucky. Vendors and onsite registration will open Friday May 23, 2008. Grab your bike and join us, won't you? We challenge you to the full Horsey Hundred - our century route on Saturday that will take you over a wide range of terrain typical of the Bluegrass. On Sunday, you have the option of riding the streets of Paris… Kentucky! So saddle up bike riders and join us on the Horsey! Spring is a beautiful time to ride in the Bluegrass. There are several routes to choose from on both days. Saturday routes will be all new in 2008 with distances from 30 to 100 miles available. Sunday’s routes will take you in a different direction for 37, 52 and through Paris on the 70-mile loop. All routes loop back to the start each day. Recommended starting times, between 8 and 10 a.m. are listed on the route maps. The Horsey Hundred is not a race. The Horsey is tandem friendly with its rolling hills and well maintained roads. Some dorm rooms are available on-site at Georgetown College. We limit entries to 2000 riders. Register early online to assure yourself a spot!
