Description: The Tour of Boca which provides a safe bicycling opportunity for riders at slower speeds. Teaching bicycle safety to children and adults TOUR OF BOCA The Boca Raton Bicycle Club and the City of Boca Raton will again sponsor the “Tour of Boca” which is a great way to spend the afternoon which is a casual bicycle ride for families and friends on Sunday, This ride will be appreciated by riders of all ages (10+)Registration opens at 12:30 PM and a nominal fee of $2 per person is collected. The ride leaves at 1 PM from Patch Reef Park on Yamato Rd west of Military Trail. and is escorted by the Boca Raton Police for added safety. The ride is approximately. 14 TO 15 miles and the average speed of the ride is 9-10 miles per hour with refreshments served at a stop midway. Children 10 to 14 must be accompanied by an adult. All riders MUST wear a helmet.. Registration opens at 12:30PM. The dates of the rides are November 8th,December 13th, January 10th, February 14th and March 14th Hope to see you there.
