Ok, I’ll admit it. I’m not a big cyclist. Now, don’t get me wrong, I ride my bike every day. I ride to work, I ride to the grocery store, I ride to friends’ houses. But I rarely ride “just for fun.” But last weekend, I found a great middle ground for my love of biking as transportation and being a tourist in my own city.

Last month, the League announced its latest round of Bicycle Friendly University awards and the news took flight on Twitter. Students and staff tweeted the good news and, yes, a bit of friendly competitive banter emerged among rival colleges.
