How to Start an Advocacy Organization (AO)

The manual below is intended to help you take the
first steps in organizing a bicycle advocacy organization, or improve the organization of your existing group. In outlining these steps, we hope to take out some of the guesswork involved and make the process more enjoyable. Our affiliated clubs and organizations are vital for the League of American Bicyclists’ success, and we are proud to support your current and future efforts for bicycling.
