2009 Election Timeline

Become a League Board Member

If you are interested in serving on the League Board of Directors, or if you know someone who would be a good representative for cyclists in your region, the Nominating Committee is now soliciting recommendations for candidates for the 2009 board elections. The 12 Directors on the board are responsible for setting broad policy and direction for the League. Six represent specific regions and are elected by League members. Three seats will be filled by election in 2009:
Region 1: (CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI, VT) John Allen, who currently holds the seat, is undecided about running for re-election at this time.
Region 4: (IL, IN, MI, OH) Jim Sheehan, who currently holds the seat, is undecided about  running for re-election at this time.
Region 6: (AK, CA, HI, ID, NV, OR, WA)  Amanda Eichstaedt, who currently holds the seat, is running for re-election.

· Of "good moral character" – someone whose presence on the Board would not result in any embarrassment to the League.

And further
